Still Life Progress (#1)

I just recently started my first layers of color glaze on my oil painting. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about it yet. On the one hand I'm kind of excited because I like colors, but on the other I was finally starting to get used to the process and like the results of my underpainting, and I'm a little worried that my actual painting is going to be worse than the underpainting. I'm trying to strike a balance between just getting colors down and incorporating some value, but it's slow going. Also, I feel like all of my colors are wrong? They just look kind of strange.
