Q1 In-Class Project Progress (#1)

So far on my in-class project I've been putting in the first layer of the lamps and the shelving. I honestly am not sure how I feel about it yet? On the one hand, there's definitely things going on that I really like just with the vibe of the piece. On the other hand, I think this piece is in its crisis phase? I'm really worried about getting the shading right on the shelves because I don't really know how to do this, and also I feel like the colors and contrast just aren't working yet. Also, pretty much for the duration of working on this project I've been really really stressed about non-art things, so I'm not sure how much of my feeling bad about it is because I've felt pretty bad about everything or if I really do have a reason to feel bad about it.
